General Info
Timeline
Custom commissions typically take 2–6 months from deposit to completion depending on size, complexity, and the studio schedule.
Sizes
Commissions range from 24x30 to 40x50. Smaller dimensions are welcome for multi-panel works, provided the combined surface area meets the 24x30 minimum. Dimensions are always discussed in inches.
Prices
Custom commissions are priced at a 25% premium above standard artwork rates. Rates may be adjusted further for exceptional complexity or intricate material requirements.
Process
01 Let’s chat
After reviewing the inquiry form for basic details like size and colors, a short chat helps fill in any missing gaps. A live discussion also creates space to share initial ideas and, most importantly, it ensures the collaboration feels like a natural, inspiring fit for both sides.
02 Contract & Deposit
A 50% deposit and signed agreement officially lock in a spot on the studio calendar, along with a clear project outline and delivery timeline.
03 Sketches
Three initial sketches are created for review. After choosing a preferred direction, the selected sketch is refined to lock down composition and colors. 2 rounds of revision are built into this process to make sure all parties get a chance to offer their input before moving onto the canvas.
04 Painting
The artwork takes shape in the studio through a careful, layered process. Behind-the-scenes photo updates are shared along the way to offer a glimpse into the creation of the piece.
05 Final Reveal & Delivery
After sharing a photo of the final painting for sign-off, the balance is settled and shipping is arranged. Each canvas is safely packed alongside its Certificate of Authenticity and Care & Installation Guide. Photos of the artwork settled into its new home are always warmly welcomed!
